Hey! I’m John Selle, a full-time 9-to-5 worker, stand-up comedian of seven years, and lifelong explorer who believes adventure doesn’t need massive budgets, month-long vacations, or quitting your day job.

For Years, I balanced long workweeks with late-night comedy shows, weekend trips, and spontaneous experiences whenever I could squeeze them in. I learned how to make the most out of limited PTO< how to find deals that make travel more realistic, and how to turn even the smallest moments (a local event, a new restaurant, or even a day trip) into something memorable.

NBD Adventures was born from that lifestyle: a travel and lifestyle content brand dedicated to helping everyday people (especially those busy professionals) find fun, practical, and affordable adventures without having to overhaul their lives.

Why This Matters?
Travel Content often comes from full-time travelers who quit their jobs and spend months abroad. That’s great, but not necessarily realistic for most people.
